Through her insightful “Lebanon Series”, Liz captured moments of truth in the history of a nation.
She depicted a picture of the deep rifts, the unjustified losses and the spate of misfortune in which my country wallows.
The bitter reality was mirrored in Liz’s art; however, the colours of a dream also emerged. I experienced her paintings as a person and as a Lebanese national and in both cases it made me see that beauty exists everywhere even after the deadliest of wars.
