Description
Martyr’s Square in Beirut has long been at the centre of protests and demonstrations. This painting depicts the large demonstrations which took place in 2006, after the devastating war with Israel. What I saw and experienced at that time, made a deep impression on me. My Lebanon series that emerged was a direct result of this experience.
