Description
The Litani river was the scene of this painting as well as the front line during the 2006 war. I saw the devastation afterwards when I visited the country. This painting shows that despite all the hardships the people showed courage and especially hope. The sunflower that spontaneously grew on my canvas, stands for this Hope.
